Sun River Health Hosts Ribbon Cutting At New Rochelle Health Center

Sun River Health held a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new health center known as Sun River Health New Rochelle on Friday, December 8. Congressman Jamaal Bowman, County Legislator George Latimer, City Councilmember Shane Osinloye, Dr. Corey Reynolds, the New Rochelle Superintendent of Schools, and representatives from many New Rochelle community organizations, including the Lexington Center for Recovery, the Mental Health Association, Neighbors Link, the New Rochelle Public Library, the Department of Labor, MVP, Health First, Fidelis, Choice Case Management, and Westchester Jewish Community Services were in attendance.

Moderated by Sun River Health Executive VP & Chief Operating Officer Allie Dubois, the standing-room-only celebration included remarks from Sun River Health staff including Nalini Purvis, Wilfredo Morel, and Dr. Dan Miller, a longtime resident of New Rochelle. Dr. Maria Gbur, who was able to speak between patient appointments, introduced site staff to the crowd. Allie thanked the many teams who have worked for years to bring the vision of a New Rochelle site to fruition, and the ribbon cutting by Congressman Bowman was met by cheers and applause.
